PEPTIDE AMINOS is a small peptide amino acid formula that’s made up of mostly di- and tri-peptides under 500 Daltons molecular weight. There are specific transporters in the digestive system for small chains of amino acids – peptides – so they are fast absorbing. Our formula provides all 9 types of essential amino acids. Essential amino acid are indispensable for us because they cannot be synthesized by the body and therefore must be supplied in the diet. They include: Histidine, Isoleucine, Leucine, Lysine, Methionine, Phenylalanine, Threonine, Tryptophan, Valine. The branched-chain amino acids (BCAA’s) are among the essential ones and they account for 35% of the essential amino acids in muscle proteins.

The consumption of a complete amino acid formula immediately before weight training is great, because of the increased delivery of amino acids to the muscles with increased blood flow!
