PROTEIN MEAL is a low-fat formula that is high in protein. Its protein content contributes to the maintenance and growth of muscle mass and also to maintenance of normal bones*. The product also provides carbohydrate energy on which high intensity exercise partially relies. PROTEIN MEAL contains soy protein concentrate. Soy protein concentrate is a so-called complete protein, because it provides the body with all necessary amino acids, including the 9 amino acids (i.e. Histidine, Isoleucine, Leucine, Lysine, Methionine, Phenylalanine, Threonine, Tryptophan, Valine) that are considered essential for life, because the body cannot synthesize them. PROTEIN MEAL represents a unique protein:carbohydrate ratio ideal for individuals with special carbohydrate needs. This product contains no sugar and only insignificant amount of fat! We added extra amino acids (L-Glutamine, Taurine, L-Arginine) to the formula.
