MCT - Energy Cocco is a food supplement with MCT (medium chain triglycerides), green tea extract, betaine, L-carnitine and vitamins.

Contains vitamins C, B1 and B2 which contribute to normal energy-yielding metabolism, pantothenic acid and folic acid which help reduce tiredness and fatigue, vitamin E which contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress, vitamin D and vitamin A which contribute to the normal function of the immune system. Green tea extract exerts a tonic action which is useful in case of physical and mental tiredness.

MCTs allow a significant supply of energy with a considerable speed thanks to the ability to be absorbed directly independently from the secretion of bile and pancreatic juice, after absorption they are sent directly, through the portal circulation, to the liver where they are rapidly metabolised.

At the cellular level they are directly conveyed to the mitochondrion where, following beta oxidation, they will supply energy both by participating in the Krebs cycle and subsequent oxidative phosphorylation, and by contributing to the formation and use of ketone bodies.

Their intake also promotes the use of long-chain fatty acids, overall promoting lipid metabolism.

Nutraceutical of vegetable origin extracted from Beta vulgaris (chard) with interesting capacity to favor the mobilization and hepatic use of lipids, it also shows significant capacity to favor hydration and the entry of nutrients at the cellular level. Its use contributes to the improvement of performance in endurance athletes by counteracting the negative impact of dehydration.

Carnitine favors the entry and consequently the use of fatty acids at the mitochondrial level for the production of energy with a synergistic effect with that of MCTs, contributing to the optimization of energy metabolism based on the use of lipids.

Easy to digest carbohydrates that allow a constant supply of energy while maintaining a relatively stable glycemic profile. The balanced consumption at the same time as the MCTs allows an important energy supply by exploiting all the main channels used by the body in the production of energy.
