What is Olio di Borragine?

Olio di Borragine is a supplement that contains linoleic acid and 20% GLA (gamma-linolenic acid), which are two omega 6 fatty acids, defined essential as they cannot be produced by the body and must be obtained through the diet.
It is extracted by cold pressing the seeds, so as to preserve intact the natural characteristics of the polyunsaturated fatty acids, which are especially sensitive to temperature. Vitamin E, a natural antioxidant that also helps preserve the integrity of the acids contained in the oil, is then added.

Use and mechanism of action

The beneficial properties of borage oil were known to women in times of antiquity who used copious amounts for radiant skin and a healthy body.
This oil, in fact, has a structural role in the formation of cell membranes and provides many clear advantages: it helps the skin stay healthy and perfectly hydrated and helps improve the health and appearance of all skin.
