Advance Care - Depur NAC is a food supplement based on N-acetyl-L-cysteine, milk thistle, inositol and vitamin C.

N-acetyl-L-cysteine (NAC) is an antioxidant molecule and a potential support in case of unbalanced generation of oxygen free radicals (Shahin AY et al., Int J Gynaecol Obstet. 2009). Its action derives from the fact that it stimulates the production of glutathione, one of the most important natural antioxidants but which, if taken as is, is poorly absorbed by the body.

Those who practice a lot of intense physical activity produce more free radicals and their quantity could exceed the capacity to be "buffered". This leads to greater muscle fatigue and possible repercussions on the immune system (Sen C. et al., The Netherlands: Elsevier Science; 2000). Per this reason, it is advisable to provide a good quantity of antioxidants every day with food and supplements.

Milk thistle contains silymarin, a mixture of various molecules, known for its antioxidant, digestive, hepatic and body-purifying properties.

Inositol (previously improperly called vitamin B7) has various properties on various fronts, for example it participates in the formation of cell membranes, promotes communication between cells themselves and stimulates the production of lecithin; furthermore, it counteracts excessive accumulation of fat in the liver by preventing steatosis, i.e. the presence of fat deposits in liver tissue.

Vitamin C, known for its activity in contrasting free radicals, supports the antioxidant effect.
