+WATT TRI MAG
Food supplement
Tri Mag is a food supplement based on magnesium citrate, magnesium lactate and magnesium L-pidolate.
Magnesium is an essential element for life: the quantity of magnesium present in the human body is approximately 30-40 g. Unfortunately, the current Western diet and the increased industrial refining of foods have led to a progressive reduction in the quantity of magnesium and other important mineral salts within foods, posing the risk of an insufficient intake of these nutrients and therefore of achievement of the recommended daily dose of magnesium (Nutritional Reference Values = 375 mg of magnesium). This means that the normal diet can hardly ensure a complete intake of magnesium (Mary PG et all. 2009. Therapeutic uses of magnesium). The physiological importance of magnesium lies in its ability to activate hundreds of enzymes present in the human body (magnesium-dependent enzymes) that control nervous, muscular, cardiac, vascular and metabolic activity. The same function performed by ATP (the energy molecule par excellence) is magnesium-dependent. A prolonged deficiency of magnesium can lead to hypertension (its calcium antagonist action would be lacking), forms of cardiomyopathy, and a greater likelihood of stone formation. Furthermore, some particular conditions such as psycho-physical stress or rather heavy periods can lead to a greater demand for this mineral and targeted integration is therefore essential. Magnesium in foods and supplements is ALWAYS combined with other nutrients, almost always in the form of magnesium salt. There are different types of magnesium salts, distinguishable into two categories: organic magnesium salts (such as magnesium citrate, magnesium lactate, magnesium pidolate) and inorganic ones (such as magnesium oxide). Although inorganic magnesium usually has a higher quantity of magnesium by weight, it has now been demonstrated that these types of magnesium are characterized by very low absorption at the intestinal level. This means firstly that the body cannot use unabsorbed magnesium and, secondly, that unabsorbed magnesium remaining in the lumen of the intestine can give rise to unpleasant laxative effects. Instead, the use of organic magnesium salts, such as the three components of Tri Mag magnesium citrate, magnesium lactate and magnesium pidolate, allows for significantly greater absorption and therefore effective use of magnesium by the body without the risk of incurring laxative effects. . DIRECTIONS: 2 tablets per day.
