YAMAMOTO® NUTRITION
Yamamoto® Nutrition Essential Amino - Food supplement of fermented essential amino acids. What are essential amino acids (EAA)? Amino acids are organic molecules composed in basic terms of both an amino group (NH2) and a carboxyl group (COOH), which, when combined, form the primary structure of proteins. There are 20 amino acids that contribute to the formation of proteins and are essential for the functioning of the body, plus a further 3 that have only recently been discovered. Of these 23 total amino acids, 8 are defined as essential. The term essential amino acids (EAA) refers to those amino acids that the body is unable to synthesise on its own, or at least not at a rate commensurate with metabolic demand. They therefore have to be included in the diet. What are essential amino acids? In the adult human being, there are 8 essential amino acids: Lysine: present above all in milk, soya and beef, but almost absent from cereals, it is used in the formation of carnitine and vitamin B3. For sportsmen and women, it speeds up post-workout recovery. Tryptophan: found in milk and dairy products, eggs, legumes, meat and fish. It is an important amino acid in protein synthesis, and is the starting point for the synthesis of serotonin and niacin. Phenylalanine: found in most animal and plant proteins, i.e. in meat, offal, fish, eggs and even brown rice. It is involved in many metabolic processes and is also used as a structural building block in proteins, and is involved in the formation of thyroid hormones. Threonine: found mainly in maize, soya, eggs, mushrooms, cod, pork, lamb, rabbit and veal. It is one of the amino acids most likely to be missing from a vegan diet. It is a constituent of antibodies and therefore plays a key role in maintaining the immune system. Methionine: found in dairy products, egg whites, sesame seeds, Brazil nuts, cod and soy protein. Methionine is the basis for the production of carnitine and cysteine, as well as creatine, taurine and vitamin B12. It has a chelating effect on certain heavy metals and, if present in sufficient quantities, acidifies the pH of the urine. Leucine: milk, maize, chicken and eggs are the main dietary sources of this amino acid. It plays an important role in muscles and is an alternative source of energy during intense sporting activity. Isoleucine: found mainly in maize, potatoes, chicken, eggs, peanuts, bresaola and lamb. It is closely linked to glucose requirements (it is in fact defined as a glucogenic and ketogenic amino acid), prevents structural protein catabolism and promotes recovery after prolonged exercise. Valine: rich in: egg white powder, soya protein, spirulina algae, dairy products and dairy products. It plays an important role, particularly in tissue reconstruction. Of these 8 EAAs, the last 3 described (Leucine, Isoleucine and Valine) are known as BCAAs (Branched Chain Amino Acids), i.e. branched amino acids with a branched side chain. For growing individuals, a ninth amino acid is also included as an essential: histidine. What are essential amino acid supplements for? When the diet alone is not sufficient to cover requirements, or when the amount of certain foods is reduced, supplements are an excellent way of meeting amino acid needs. There are many different types of supplement on the market: with different combinations of amino acids, with single amino acids or exclusively with combinations of branched-chain amino acids, ideal for sportsmen and women. If you're looking for a supplement that contains all of the amino acids, Essential AMINO is ideal: it not only contains all of them, but also provides them in their ideal ratio. What are the benefits of Essential AMINO? Our Essential AMINO: This is a product made up of amino acids from plant fermentation. It contains all 8 essential amino acids, in an optimal ratio to maximise bioavailability and minimise nitrogenous waste. Also contains the amino acid l-histidine Provides the ratio of l-leucine, l-isoleucine, l-valine is 4:1:1. Therefore with a greater presence of l-leucine, a fundamental amino acid for protein synthesis. It is manufactured in Italy. DIRECTIONS: take 6 tablets once a day with water or other favorite beverage during the day or after training.
