Fusilloni Varietà di Grano Cappelli are produced using the historic variety of durum wheat which owes its name to the homonymous Abruzzo senator, promoter, at the beginning of the 20th century, of the agrarian reform that led to the distinction between durum wheat and tender. Grown in Italy, it stands out for its intense aroma, strong flavor and for the ears up to one meter and eighty high that end with unmistakable black mustaches. Particularly resistant to dry climates, it is considered the king of Italian durum wheat. The semolina mixture, prepared with spring water from the Dolomites, also gives it a unique taste.
