NATURAL POINT C PLUS Dietary supplement When vitamin C comes into contact with bioflavonoids, a synergy is produced that helps support the body, with the harmonious strength that only nature can provide, day after day. What is C Plus? C Plus is a citrus bioflavonoid and vitamin C supplement obtained through the natural fermentation of GMO-free corn. The vitamin C in C Plus is in “magnesium ascorbate” form and is produced in accordance with high quality standards, without the use of allergens. In combination with magnesium, this formulation makes the vitamin C less acidic and therefore better tolerated than the “ascorbic acid” form, particularly in the event of alterations of the gastrointestinal tract, such as acid stomach. A small amount of the vitamin C (ascorbic acid) that is nevertheless present in this formulation is obtained from the fruits of the Rosa Canina, a plant known for the high content of vitamin C and antioxidant coloured pigments, such as carotenoids, flavonoids, present as trace elements. Use and mechanism of action Like all vitamins, vitamin C is essential for human health. Since the body is unable to produce vitamin C, it must be obtained through diet. A severe vitamin C deficiency, known as ‘scurvy’, manifests with bleeding gums, hair and tooth loss, impaired wound healing, widespread bruising, capillary fragility and bleeding, joint pain and muscle weakness. The main function of vitamin C is the synthesis of collagen, an important structural component of the skin and skin appendages, tendons, cartilage and bones. RECOMMENDATION: 1-2 capsules daily, with a large glass of water, preferably at mealtimes. NET WEIGHT: 76,2 grams STORAGE: Keep in a cool dry place. |
