Micellar Protein tend to absorb a lot of water, creating a gel in the stomach. Amino acids are extracted from this gel very slowly and absorption can take up to 8 hours. Precisely because of this slow absorption, micellar casein is considered the anti-catabolic protein par excellence. In fact, the slower rate of digestion allows casein protein to promote muscle growth by blocking protein catabolism. Furthermore, micellar caseins are naturally rich in glutamine, an amino acid that is extremely effective in inhibiting protein catabolism which occurs especially during the second phase of sleep.

Micellar Protein, compared to whey Protein, have a richer presence of lactose which could cause difficulties. Net Integratori's effort was to select a raw material that basically had a relatively low presence of lactose, but then eliminated the problem by creating a product based on Lactase and Bromelain. Bromelain aims to improve protein digestion in general, while Lactase provides for the digestion of residual lactose by dividing it into Galactose and Glucose (this process takes place in the intestine and both enzymes do not interfere with the blood circulation).

Lactose is physiologically present in Protein that have undergone minimal processing and which are close to the native form of the product. Many adults have problems digesting lactose (due to lactase deficiency) and even small quantities can give rise to problems ranging from intestinal disorder to dysentery. The addition of these enzymes makes phenomena of even simple swelling or water retention practically absent; phenomena that a lactose intolerance can easily cause.

Micellar casein is rich in some essential amino acids and glutamine, but lacking in some amino acids fundamental for muscle growth. DIRECTIONS: 3 scoops (30 g of product) in 200 ml of water or milk. Stir, shake or blend until completely dissolved. Per a stronger taste and greater body, use less water (150 ml).

Take in the morning as soon as you wake up and/or just before going to sleep, to replace or complete small meals and/or at any other time when highly assimilable Protein are desired.
