Pearl Barley is one of the most versatile cereals in the kitchen and has important nutritional characteristics. Grown in Italy.
Barley is a source of mineral salts, especially phosphorus, while the most present vitamins are those of group B, in particular niacin. Noteworthy is the amount of fiber (9.0g), in particular the soluble component.
Barley beta-glucans, soluble fiber (4.41g), contribute to the maintenance of normal blood cholesterol levels.
Thanks to the pearling, the barley is ready to be cooked, while maintaining a high value of dietary fiber.
DIRECTIONS: it has a simple and genuine flavor, excellent to be enjoyed with salads, soups or broths, also in combination with other cereals and legumes.
