EAA+ - Amminoacidi Essenziali is a food supplement based on essential amino acids and vitamins B1, B6 and B12 in powder form.

Essential amino acids (i.e. those that the human organism needs, but is incapable of synthesizing autonomously) constitute a group of particular interest since their use allows the organism to synthesize new Protein when required by the various organs, especially at the liver and even more muscular.

L-leucine (present in the greatest quantity in the product) is the amino acid most involved in inhibiting the degradation of muscle Protein and promoting their synthesis (Yehui D. et al. 2015 The role of leucine and its metabolites in protein and energy metabolism).
In addition to their function as real building blocks for protein synthesis, almost all essential amino acids have a stimulating role in the physiological release of important anabolic hormones such as growth hormone (GH) and insulin.

As regards the branched chain amino acids (L-Leucine, L-isoleucine and L-valine), it should be remembered that in addition to the plastic/structural functions, common to the other essential ones, they can also perform an energetic function by becoming oxidizable substrates. This energetic function begins with their transamination, and becomes important when the subject, after intense and prolonged effort, has low availability of carbohydrates. Transamination, which allows the energetic use of branched products, is catalyzed by vitamin B6, this is the reason for the presence of this vitamin in the product formulation. A third function of branched chain amino acids is the possibility of mitigating the sense of fatigue in subjects subjected to intense and prolonged muscular effort.

The product is completed by vitamin B1, essential for the production of energy (from carbohydrates) required for the synthesis of new Protein and vitamin B12 which regulates many steps of the metabolism of amino acids in carrying out their functions.

 

DIRECTIONS: SPORT: for the reasons mentioned, the use of essential amino acids is advisable in sports, especially after intense muscular effort, when protein synthesis mechanisms are activated by the body.
Doses: we recommend taking 5.5g of product (two scoops) dissolved in a glass of water after sporting activity.

DAILY LIFE: the product is useful in cases of insufficient intake of essential amino acids (reduced or absent intake of meat-based foods, conditions of malnutrition) and in cases where the subject, for various reasons, has a significant decrease in muscle mass .
Doses: follow the dosage established by your consultant (medical doctor / nutritionist biologist).
Divide the intake throughout the day, 2.75 g of product (1 scoop) dissolved in a glass of water twice a day.
