YAMAMOTO® RESEARCH
Yamamoto® Research Fosfatidilserina Sharp-PS® Phosphatidylserine (PS), a phospholipid component of cell membranes (particularly of the inner portion), which is emerging as one of the potentially most promising natural sources for neurocognitive health supplements.
Lipids represent about 60% of the weight of the brain and phospholipids in particular are a fundamental component. PS has been shown to be essential for the proper functioning of the brain, in particular by affecting the communication between brain cells. Our neurons need phosphatidylserine to conduct nerve impulses and it is essential to preserve "neuroplasticity", enhance our focus and memory and learning ability, as well as speed up communication between brain cells for thought processing and timing of faster reactions, making us more "performing" on a mental level even under stress. This is because phosphatidylserine improves our ability to respond to stressful factors, affecting our emotional state, motivation and mood as it intervenes by promoting the release of four main neurotransmitters: serotonin, norepinephrine, dopamine and acetylcholine. PS is supported by a rich scientific literature in particular on cognitive decline in the elderly, for neurodegenerative problems (it is the only "brain" supplement to receive a qualified stamp of approval from the American FDA for the treatment of age-related cognitive decline and dementia in the elderly), and we can consider it an excellent "pro-mental performance" nutraceutical useful for students under stress from exams, athletes in training and professionals in various work sectors who need to maintain a certain efficiency and mental lucidity under stress, as well as an aid element in the "slow aging". This supplement contains Phosphatidylserine Sharp-PS®, an innovative patented version index of maximum quality and transparency, without soy and GMOs, where each batch of Phosphatidylserine Sharp-PS® is independently subjected to a series of tests in order to guarantee its highest quality and safety.
