Oats are a precious cereal for the well-being of the body, it is a source of fibre, vitamins, Protein and many other nutrients.

DIRECTIONS: Porridge: prepare in a few minutes by cooking 1 part of oat flakes + 3 parts of liquid such as milk or water in a saucepan (or in the microwave) (for example 50g of oat flakes with 150ml of water), Once it comes to the boil, lower the heat to minimum and mix until the desired consistency.
It is then enriched as desired with fresh fruit, chocolate chips, peanut butter, dried fruit, yogurt to obtain a complete and nutritious solution. It can also be enjoyed cold, leaving it to cool in the fridge for a few hours, for a morning snack or an afternoon snack.
Overnight oat: in this case the oat flakes are mixed and left to soak overnight in the refrigerator, in double the liquid (for example 50g of flakes + 100ml of water or milk).
The following morning, the flakes will have absorbed all the liquid and just add the other ingredients as desired. This version is quicker to make and more suitable for the summer period.
Protein porridge: to obtain a high-protein version, add egg whites or the desired amount of protein powder to the hot porridge (Example: 50g of oat flakes with 150ml of water/milk + 40-50ml of egg whites).
Add the egg whites to the preparation only when the flakes have almost completely absorbed the liquid, always continue to mix until the desired consistency, so that the egg whites are cooked.
