What is MQC?

MQC is a formulation in which M stands for MSM (methylsulfonylmethane), Q for coenzyme Q10 and C for Vitamin C. Methylsulfonylmethane is a purified form of high quality and highly bioavailable organic sulfur, OPTIMSM®, with an excellent degree of purity, which is obtained through a molecular distillation process that allows any contaminants to be separated and eliminated.
On its own, MSM is available in tablet or powder form, while the MQC Coenzyme 10- and Vitamin C-enriched formulation is available in capsule or powder form.

Use and mechanism of action

Sulfur is an essential component for normal tendon, ligament and joint function; it is also a component of keratin, which is found in the hair, skin and nails.
It provides the body with effective support in the typical manifestations triggered by external substances, from pollutants to allergenic substances such as pollen.
In short, it is of true assistance in supporting our health on several levels. Coenzyme Q10, also known as ubiquinone, is an essential element for the proper functioning of the mitochondria, the cell unit responsible for producing energy in the body.
It is also important on account of its antioxidant action and the assistance it provides in cardiovascular disorders and tissue repair, such as lesions of the gingival tissues (periodontitis).
Vitamin C is involved in collagen formation, which is important for cartilage function and consequently for joint function.
