Advance Care - Intestino Plus is a unique product because it combines fermented Protein and fermented carbohydrates, specifically galactooligosaccharides (GOS), with the use of lactobacilli, in particular Lactobacillus Ramnosus.

Unlike probiotics, which contain live bacteria beneficial to gut health, Intestino Plus is a prebiotic. Prebiotics do not contain live bacteria, but rather nutrients that feed and support the beneficial microorganisms already present in our gut, collectively known as microbiota. The gut microbiota is a complex ecosystem of bacteria, viruses, fungi and other microorganisms that live in our gastrointestinal tract. These microorganisms play a crucial role in digestion, nutrient absorption, vitamin production and protection against pathogens.

The fermented Protein present in Intestino Plus are a key element. These Protein, through the fermentation process, become more easily assimilated and can contribute to the health of the gut microbiota. The fermentation of Protein and galacto-oligosaccharides (GOS) creates a favorable environment for the growth and activity of beneficial bacteria in the gastrointestinal tract.

To make Intestino Plus also suitable for those who suffer from lactose intolerance, the lactase enzyme has been added to the formulation. The lactase enzyme splits lactose into its two components, galactose and glucose, thus allowing intolerant people to benefit from the product without discomfort.
