Yamamoto® Nutrition presents the new version of Flex FORMULA®, a food supplement suitable for all athletes who, during the intensive practice of their activities, subject the joints and tendon structures to continuous stress. The new formula comes in a revamped format with type II collagen, hyaluronic acid, chondroitin sulphate in the form of the "ChondrActiv ™" mixture patented by Diana Naturals, Glucosamine, Boswellia Extract (BosliQ®AKBA), Vitamin D and Vitamin C. ChondrActiv ™ is a mixture in a standardised form with a very high bioavailability of three key elements for joint health: type II collagen from chicken cartilage (55%) that helps the cartilage structure itself, on which our joints are based, as well as influencing the health of our connective tissues throughout the body, chondroitin sulphate (12%), and hyaluronic acid (1.5%) which provide strong support to the joints and to the synovial fluid, as demonstrated by clinical studies. Glucosamine is an essential element due to the synergy that binds these elements in maintaining the health of the joints of the sportsman who constantly pushes them to perform. As a constituent of the glycosaminoglycans and proteoglycans present in the synovial fluid and in the cartilage matrix, it is used for the biosynthesis of the hyaluronic acid, synovial fluid and proteoglycans of the core substance of the articular cartilage, elements subjected to constant wear during sporting activity. A deficit of glucosamine or its metabolism can reduce the degree of production of these important macromolecules leading to a weakness of specific tissues. Also, when traumas occur, the cartilage metabolism can undergo modifications; in this situation, the integration of glucosamine, supplements the endogenous deficiencies of the substance, stimulates the basis of biosynthesis, stimulates the biosynthesis of proteoglycans, produces a trophic action on the joint cartilage, favouring the fixation of sulphur in the synthesis of glucosaminoglycans and proteoglycans. More and more often we hear about the anti-inflammatory and analgesic power of Boswellia, which has a wide range of uses in sports and/or traumatology. From boswellia, we extract a gum resin which is rich in boswellic acids, tetracyclic acids and polysaccharides, and has a powerful anti-inflammatory and analgesic action when used on various pathologies of the osteoarticular system. This action manifests itself through a reduction of pain and swelling, and the improvement of the motility of the joints, even in the phases of recovery after trauma or injuries of various kinds. These powerful active ingredients, in fact, hinder the action of the 5-lipoxygenase enzyme, an active agent responsible for producing of substances that facilitate inflammatory processes. Furthermore, they inhibit elastases, highly destructive enzymes, which attack and deteriorate the elastic part of tissues in which an inflammatory process is occurring. In our product, we wanted to add an excellence that would accentuate the effects on inflammation and pain. This has been done with the use of Biosfered, BosLiQ®, the liquid extract with very high bioavailability with unique characteristics compared to other forms of extracts. It is characterised by the presence of oleananolic lipophilic pentacyclic triterpene acids (𝛂-boswellic acids), ursolic acids (𝛃-boswellic acids) and their compounds, and by the presence of high amounts of AKBA which results in a powerful anti-inflammatory response and contrast to painful processes. The presence of Vitamin C contributes to the normal formation of collagen for the physiological activity of cartilages, and of Vitamin D which intervenes in maintaining the normal health of bones and muscles. Directions: take 3 capsules a day with water.
