Hyaluronic acid is a molecule naturally present in the body that is mainly found in the synovial fluid around joints, enabling everyday movement and preventing or counteracting pain as a shock absorber and lubricant. In fact, it appears to be able to influence the way the body is able to react to trauma.

It is a mucopolysaccharide, a molecule found in the fundamental substance of connective tissue, produced to moisturise and protect tissue. Its peculiarity is in fact that it is able to bind water molecules to itself, retaining it to create protective gels useful for skin and joints.

Given its moisturising properties, it is essential for maintaining the turgidity, viscosity and plasticity of connective tissues.

At the skin level, it preserves the right degree of skin hydration, also exerting a filling action that allows the skin to maintain a youthful and relaxed appearance.

At the joint level, it acts as a mechanical shock absorber and lubricant, protecting joints and cartilage from physical damage. Hyaluronic acid, binding to proteoglycans, improves and supports the stability of cartilage.

The patented form of ExceptionHYAL® Jumps acts as a real shock absorber, lubricating and reconstituting the tissues, aiding the cushioning effect and reducing joint stiffness. When taken orally, it promotes the self-regeneration of hyaluronic acid in the synovial fluid through endogenous synthesis, and enables the recovery of joint mobility through the regeneration of endogenous synovial fluid as well as exerting a soothing effect on local inflammation to reduce the symptoms of osteoarthritis.

In order to ensure the availability of a wide range of specific molecular weights, Full Spectrum Technology (HA Tech 2.0) was developed, which enables the production of a complex of hyaluronanes with different molecular weights through biofermentation, without having to mix individual molecular weights produced separately. The detailed regulation of production times and temperatures allows specific spectra of sodium hyaluronate molecular weights to be obtained for effective and targeted applications. This results in seamless integration into joint tissue biology, limiting pro-inflammatory processes and promoting cartilage trophism and lubricating action in the synovial fluid through additional hyaluronic acid synthesis.
