Yamamoto® Research Vitamina B1 Vitamin B1 is a food supplement that provides 25 mg of vitamin B1 per daily dose. Vitamin B1 contributes to the normal functioning of the nervous system, to normal psychological function and to normal energy metabolism. Vitamin B1, also called "thiamine", is a water-soluble B vitamin, essential for the transformation of sugars into muscle energy and for the functionality of the nervous system. Together with other B vitamins, it takes part in the metabolism of carbohydrates, proteins and fats. Vitamin B1 is particularly used by the body especially during periods of intense physical and mental commitment, in the case of high alcohol consumption or in smokers. Vitamin B1 plays a key role in supporting neuronal function, both centrally and peripherally, proving necessary for the correct transmission of nerve stimuli from the brain and spinal cord to the various parts of the body and for numerous brain functions, and is also essential for the proper functioning of the heart and muscles. Its right presence improves the attention span and also of individual learning, and for this reason it is considered a fundamental vitamin in the period of growth of children. Vitamin B1 deficiency causes damage to the nervous and cardiovascular systems and a general state of wasting and weight loss resulting from an increasing difficulty in ingesting food accompanied by strong salivation and vomiting. Severe vitamin B1 deficiency can also cause heart changes, neurological disorders, pupil dilation and hypersensitivity to the spine. Directions: take 1 tablet a day, with water.
