Maltodextrins are made up of polysaccharides and are gradually assimilated by the body, which is why they are able to supply energy constantly and for a longer period than simpler sugars. The maltodextrins contained in CARBOPLUS, are long-chain polysaccharides (19 dextrose subunits) that are produced from GMO FREE corn starch through enzyme-mediated hydrolysis (hydrolase), a reaction that allows you to separate the thousands of dextrose molecules linked together to forming long chains that make up the starch structure. Depending on the degree of hydrolysis we can obtain different maltodextrins depending on the length of the chains that constitute them. The length of the glucidic chain of maltodextrin is related to a parameter called dextrose Equivalence (D. E) from an inverse proportionality relationship. If maltodextrin contains long molecules of polysaccharides, its Dextrose Equivalence (DE) will be lower. From the nutritional point of view, if a maltodextrin has a low ED it means that it is of good quality, because it guarantees a gradual absorption and prolonged energy over time, without causing glycemic fluctuations typical of sugars such as glucose which has a DE equal to 100.

Carnitine, if taken before physical exercise, ensures various beneficial effects, such as increased performance during sub-maximal exercise, increased maximum aerobic capacity, better use of glycogen during sustained and prolonged exercise. L-Carnitine is necessary for our body in case of physiological stress, muscular activity and exposure to cold. It is important to know that L-Carnitine can be of great benefit to individuals on a very low calorie diet. In fact, this substance stimulates the combustion of the amino acids Leucine and Valine, which contribute to producing more than 10% of the energy needed during intense exercise.
