YAMAMOTO® RESEARCH
Yamamoto® Research Agelin Bodybalance® Agelin Bodybalance® is a food supplement that provides 15 grams of collagen per sachet, Bodybalance® quality (Bioactive Collagen Peptides): these are specific peptides derived from collagen. The intact collagen molecules are subjected to a standardized hydrolysis (cutting) process which results in the formation of smaller molecules, which are more easily absorbed and bioavailable. Collagen is an ubiquitous protein, the most represented in the body, a fundamental constituent of structures such as muscles, cartilages, bones, etc.
Collagen is a fundamental component of the structural proteins of our body. About 30% of our protein component is characterized by collagen, a crucial element for joints, bone stability, to combat muscle sarcopenia, to ensure stronger ligaments and tendons, for the health and tone of the skin, hair and nails less fragile. In addition to being the major structural protein of our connective tissue, it is also abundant in vascular tissue, in the intervertebral discs, in the blood brain barrier, in the cornea, in the dentin and in the intestinal mucosa.
It has been seen that with advancing age, in particular after the age of forty, important changes in body composition begin to take place, with a more marked tendency towards "sarcopenia", that is to the loss of muscle tissue, with consequent loss of strength, stability, quality of life, precious metabolic tissue with a greater predisposition to the accumulation of adipose tissue. Exercise combined with targeted nutrition are of fundamental importance to counteract this phenomenon, but nutraceuticals can also be a valuable support element.
Thanks to modern technology, there are various typologies of different composition of peptides obtained by particular hydrolysis processes, which can be differentiated by their ability to stimulate the synthesis of collagen as well as providing precious "tissue-selective" elements.
Agelin Bodybalance® is a food supplement that contains the patented formula BODYBALANCE, a highly specific peptide hydrolyzate on the contrast of sarcopenia, able to stimulate muscle tissue to be more efficient and stronger, expanding the concept of collagen not only related to osteoraticular tissue - tendon or to that of our dermis, to support lean muscle mass and contrasting the "degradation" that occurs for reasons related to aging or other forms of catabolism, while promoting the mobilization of fats from fat deposits, with a view to a true improvement in the state of the body composition.
This particular protein hydrolyzate of the collagen contained in Agelin Bodybalance® also has an extraordinary ability to be bioavailable, developed by the prestigious leader in the production of collagen GELITA, which allows a completely effective oral intake. The exact mechanism of action of the selected hydrolysates of BODYBALANCE® collagen are still being investigated, but current research has highlighted an additional role that this specific composition of collagen peptides has in our body, not only as a "structural" protein of essential importance, but also in preserving muscle tissue and its relative functionality, together with important relative metabolic effects on body composition. Specifically, in support of its effectiveness, BODYBALANCE has several interesting studies on its side which demonstrate its "strengthening" effect, in conjunction with constant physical exercise.
Specifically, recent research has shown that these collagen peptides have brought about a significant stimulation of the mTOR, thus promoting a decisive stimulation for the synthesis of new proteins. In addition, an interesting positive influence on the metabolic level has been demonstrated which leads to a reduction in adipose tissue, which in conjunction with regular training, improves body composition, in favor of an increase in muscle tissue compared to fat mass.
