SayanFOCUS - NO STIM
SayanFOCUS – NO STIM is the innovative pre-workout from Yamamoto® Nutrition designed to take your performance to the next level and composed of 11 different ingredients at the service of your performance. SayanFOCUS contains L-citrulline, Beta-alanine, patented TruBeet beetroot extract, Pomegranate extract, patented Nutricog extract, Sodium, a patented blend of S7 plant extracts, Brainberry, vitamin B6, thiamine and vitamin B12. It is therefore the “non-stimulating” version of Sayan, because it does NOT contain caffeine or other molecules with a stimulating action, and is designed for those who need maximum concentration, attention and reactivity , because it has a powerful action on cognitive performance, useful for tackling the entire workout, even the most challenging. The SayanFOCUS formula uses the synergistic action of different plant extracts to best support performance , giving you a physical and mental boost without the need to take caffeine. At the same time, it is also able to stimulate the production of Nitric Oxide, to support the muscle pump . It is the perfect pre-workout for those looking for support for cognitive functions.
What exactly does the SayanFOCUS formula consist of? SayanFOCUS has a complex formula, rich in patented and certified natural extracts. Here in detail are all the ingredients used to develop SayanFOCUS and their specific action: L-Citrulline – Citrulline is a non-essential amino acid that is extremely beneficial for athletes: acting as a precursor to arginine, it improves the blood and oxygen supply to the muscles , stimulating the production of nitric oxide . This has a positive effect on the muscle pump , increasing endurance and supporting performance during physical activity. In addition, citrulline can help reduce muscle soreness and fatigue after exercise, as it helps reduce the accumulation of lactic acid in the muscles. Thanks to its properties, citrulline plays a fundamental role in supporting athletes in achieving their goals. Beta-alanine – Beta-alanine is a precursor to carnosine, a substance that neutralizes the accumulation of lactic acid in muscle tissue. Therefore, taking Beta-alanine helps delay the feeling of tiredness and post-workout muscle soreness , improving performance during high-intensity exercises. The International Society of Sports Nutrition (ISSN) claims that supplementation with Beta-alanine acts as a pH regulator within cells, ensuring safety and an increase in physical performance, especially in short-duration, high-intensity activities. In addition, this supplement is also able to mitigate neuromuscular fatigue.
TruBeet – a proprietary and standardized formula with a high content of natural nitrates extracted from beetroot ( Beta vulgaris ). The formula is standardized to contain over 6% inorganic nitrate (VS traditional beetroot extracts which usually contain 1-3%), which allows for significantly reduced dosages. In addition, it also harnesses the natural Energy of polyphenols, which work in harmony with nitrates to improve exercise performance and support cardiovascular health. Taking TruBeet facilitates the production of Nitric Oxide in tissues that are in hypoxic situations, such as muscles during exercise. Improved NO bioavailability has been documented to influence muscle function and exercise performance, because it reduces the cost of oxygen in ATP synthesis, and increases muscle phosphocreatine (PCr) recovery in hypoxic situations. TruBeet® has been clinically shown to improve late-race performance in endurance events following prolonged moderate-intensity exercise. In the same study, TruBeet® also showed that it can accelerate muscle deoxyhemoglobin kinetics, improving oxygen extraction from muscles. Below, we report the nitrite, nitrate, and nitric oxide pathway. This pathway complements the L-Arginine-Nitric Oxide pathway, especially under conditions of decreased oxygen availability, such as exercise performance or poor cardiovascular function.
Pomegranate Extract – obtained from the pomegranate fruit, this extract is very rich in antioxidants and vitamins, and is useful for improving energy levels (both physical and mental), reducing inflammatory states, slowing down the oxidative process and improving blood flow , reducing the sensation of fatigue and thus making performance more efficient. Nutricog – Nutricog is a patented combination of Haritaki ( Terminalia chebula ) and Boswellia ( Boswellia serrata ) standardized in gallic acid, ellagic acid and amyrins. Clinical research has demonstrated its effectiveness in improving cognitive performance . In a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical study, Nutricog users demonstrated significant improvements over placebo in several cognitive domains, including attention and general learning . The major benefits of taking Nutricog are the following: 1.4-fold improvement in short-term memory; 1.6-fold improvement in overall learning; and an impressive 11.5-fold improvement in mental focus.
Sodium – Sodium, which almost all of us know as sodium chloride (table salt) is a very important mineral for our health. In fact, sodium regulates the passage of fluids and nutrients inside and outside cells and participates in the transmission of nervous impulses . The sodium present in the bones represents a reserve that the body can draw on when necessary to regulate the blood pH. S7 ® –S7® is a combination of seven botanical nitric oxide boosting ingredients that have been shown in studies to ignite the body’s own nitric oxide production system. S7® is completely botanical and nitrate-free, designed to allow you to experience the benefits of nitric oxide without the side effects, so you can focus on your performance. In multiple acute, double-blind studies, S7 has been shown to increase blood levels of nitric oxide for long-term support of the nitric oxide cycle.
Brainberry - Brainberry is a natural extract of Aronia berries specifically developed to improve cognitive performance . Research has shown that consuming Brainberry increases concentration , memory , psychomotor speed and even mental flexibility . A 43% increase in the “Accu test” that measures the concentration of participants was observed between baseline and the first 12 weeks, comparing the placebo group with the group that took Brainberry. In particular, a study conducted on 35 professional basketball players showed significant benefits after one week of supplementation. This study highlighted the ability of Brainberry® to significantly enhance cognitive performance and improve basketball-specific skills, such as shooting, rebounding and dribbling. Cyanidin-3-O-Galactoside is the active ingredient in Brainberry® and plays an important role in improving brain health and cognitive function .
Vitamin B6 – This B-complex vitamin plays a role in the metabolism of amino acids, fatty acids and sugars and participates in the production of various hormones, white blood cells and red blood cells. It also plays an essential role in forming an immune barrier to protect against the onset of disease, stimulate cognitive functions and combat aging.
Thiamine – Also known as vitamin B1, thiamine is primarily involved in carbohydrate metabolism: it plays a significant role in the process of converting glucose into energy.
Vitamin B12 – Also known as Cobalamin, it is involved in the metabolism of amino acids, nucleic acids and fatty acids. It plays an essential role in the production of red blood cells and the formation of bone marrow. It also helps convert nutrients into energy, can relieve stress and improve mood.
