ALCE NERO FARINA DI KHORASAN Farina di Khorasan is based on Khorasan wheat, a delicate cereal that needs fertile soils and a warm climate to express satisfactory growth. It has always been cultivated in the Mediterranean area, especially in North Africa, Spain and Italy. The cultivation areas where today it best expresses its characteristics are, in Italy, in particular in the regions of Sicily and Puglia. The particularly high size (140-160 cm) and the earliness guarantee a good competition in contrast to weeds. The caryopsis, larger than the other grains, long and narrow in shape, measures up to 11-12 mm in length and 3 mm in width. Per our wholemeal khorasan wheat flour, we only use Italian grown wheat. Alce Nero stone ground wholemeal khorasan flour is ideal for making bread and pizza. NET CONTENT: 500 g
