ALCE NERO QUINOA REAL Quinoa Real is made with quinoa (botanical name Chenopodium quinoa) an annual herbaceous plant of the Chenopodiaceae family, like spinach or beets. This grain has a very important history: venerated by the Incas as a sacred plant for over 5,000 years and cultivated on the Andes highlands at altitudes between 3,800 and 4,200 metres, it still represents the staple food of the Andean populations today. This food in recent years has been also rediscovered by the western world as it boasts important nutritional properties and is naturally gluten-free. The quinoa root is very deep (even 180 cm) and branched, and gives the plant both good stability and excellent resistance to drought. Alce Nero has chosen real Quinoa for its users as it is considered the most valuable of all types. Alce Nero Real Quinoa is cultivated on the altitudes of the Salar de Uyuni, in Bolivia, at a height of over 3,600 meters, with methods similar to those used by the Incas. The altitude of the fields, the knowledge of Bolivian farmers and the accurate controls throughout the supply chain make Alce Nero Quinoa Real a food of the highest quality. NET CONTENT: 400 g
