The amino acid citrulline is found in watermelon (Citrullus Lanatus), while malic acid is an organic acid that is abundantly present in nature (e.g. in fruits).
Many Protein contain citrulline and both ingredients are key intermediates in metabolic cycles.

L-Citrulline supplementation has been shown to be useful for increasing the levels of arginine (as well as citrulline itself) in the blood, available for the synthesis of nitric oxide and other associated functions.
