What's this

It is a supplement of vitamin B12 or cobalamin, a B vitamin, obtained from natural corn fermentation. It is produced according to high quality standards, with rice flour as the only excipient. It is free of allergens and GMOs.

What is useful and how it works

Among the best known virtues concerning vitamin B12, it is undoubtedly its participation in the normal formation of red blood cells, hemoglobin and bone marrow. Vitamin B12 also proves useful to regulate energy metabolism, removing tiredness and fatigue, as it participates in the metabolism of proteins, fats and carbohydrates.
Together with folic acid (vitamin B9), it takes part in many processes within our body, including the immune function and the formation of the myelin sheath, the lining of the nerve fibers necessary for the transmission of impulses. This is why we can rightly argue that this vitamin contributes to the well-being of our nervous system and to our normal psychological function.
Together with folic acid (vitamin B9) and pyridoxine (vitamin B6), it participates in the homocysteine metabolism, a key factor in the development of pathologies such as atherosclerosis, osteoporosis and cardiovascular disorders. High levels of homocysteine can in fact promote the "oxidative stress" of LDL cholesterol, with possible effects on the cardiovascular system.
