Yamamoto® Research Vitamina B2 Vitamin B2 is a food supplement that provides 25 mg of vitamin B2 per daily dose. Vitamin B2 contributes to normal energy metabolism, to the normal functioning of the nervous system, to the maintenance of normal red blood cells and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. Vitamin B2 or also called "riboflavin", is a water-soluble vitamin like all other vitamins of the B complex, and is essential for many metabolic functions in which it is involved. Vitamin B2 contributes to normal energy metabolism, to promoting development and growth phases, to the normal functioning of the nervous system, to the maintenance of the health of the respiratory and digestive mucous membranes, to the maintenance of normal red blood cells, to the maintenance of normal skin, maintenance of normal vision (can be useful in the prevention and treatment of cataracts), normal iron metabolism, cellular respiration, protection of cells from oxidative stress and reduction of tiredness and fatigue. Its need increases during growth periods, during pregnancy, in athletes but also in the elderly. Symptoms that may indicate a vitamin B2 deficiency include problems with the skin and mucous membranes, such as cracking in the corners of the mouth, itching in the area around the nose, ears and scalp. Decreased appetite, increased weakness, anemia, visual disturbances, tomatitis glossitis, burning eyes and increased sensitivity to light may occur. It is useful to remember that its integration can create a harmless fluorescent yellow color of the urine. Directions: take 1 tablet a day, with water.
